The story of La Corniche begins in the 1930s in San Martino di Lota, near Bastia.
Anne-Françoise and Robert Anziani ran a small inn there, which also served as a café and bakery. A few years later, twelve guest rooms were added. From generation to generation, the inn grew into the family-run hotel and restaurant we know today.
Nearly a century later, the fourth generation continues this story. Magali and Julien, brother and sister, keep La Corniche alive with the same passion: to preserve the spirit of a place where people come to stay, eat well, reconnect, and take their time.
This tradition is also reflected in the cuisine. Some traditional Corsican family recipes have stood the test of time and are still served today at "La Table de La Corniche." Robert, the father, is still around—along with some of his recipes. A family story that continues to be written with heart, blending Corsican hospitality, traditional cuisine, and the Mediterranean way of life.
In our charming hotel near Bastia, we offer 21 rooms. They can accommodate up to 4 people and are therefore ideal for all your stays.
Check-in is from 3 pm to 11 pm (8 pm on Mondays), and check-out is before 11 am. A baby cot can be added to some rooms upon request for an additional €30 per stay.
Every day, we take action on our own scale by implementing small actions.
